Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum-mop makes a great option for apartment dwellers as it has an economized docking system and comes with its own trash bin. The application lets you set different modes and monitor cleans. The mopping function is also impressive.
Its mapping, obstacle avoidance, and mops are impressive. robot vacuum cleaners is able to pick pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties, self-cleans and refills its tank.
iRobot Roomba Combination
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobot Combo doesn't quite replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient at cleaning, and comes with an app for mobile devices that is simpler to use, but it's a good alternative. It is able to pick up dirt from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most sophisticated in the world, as it lacks structured light and other technologies like LiDAR, but it still did a good job of preventing collisions with furniture and clutter.
The Combo includes the majority of the same smarts as the j7 Plus and comes with new acoustic sensors onboard to determine floor type and AI-powered navigation. However, it does not have the ability to adjust suction power manually. It's also slightly less compact than the version that uses vacuum and doesn't have a a self-emptying dock.
The Combo is one of my top choices for most homes. Its sleek design is also one of the most attractive I've seen. The matte black finish is more elegant than the glossy or metallic finishes of most competitors. iRobot also adds some classier touches, such as a leather tab for opening the bin that is onboard, and a shelf to store bags that are not in the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to create maps of your home, and to set up Keep-Out Zones as well as No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.
Roborock
Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop industry however, it has already established its mark thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning techniques. The vacuums are renowned for their suction power, and mopping systems from the company include vibrating mops that help scrub floors clean. You can also modify the cleaning process of the bot using a variety and mapping options.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance function allows the robot to see objects that are smaller than its own height. This is particularly beneficial for the most popular Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is the best in its class in terms of navigation courtesy of both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been known to slam into pet waste and slam furniture with no awareness. The Qrevo Master, however, solves this problem by using a Reactive Artificial Intelligence system that uses two cameras to see the objects within a room.
Roborock robots are also equipped with a number of convenience features that reduce the need for daily maintenance, such as auto-empty docks, as well as multi-functional mop washing stations. These features make it unnecessary to empty dustbins or wash mops manually, allowing to enjoy a hands-free ownership experience. The app is easy to use thanks to its simple design and the lag-free connection to the robot.
Hobot Legee D8
With a variety of integrated cleaning modes and advanced mopping options, the Hobot Legee is one of the top robot vacuums and mops for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system blends five different technologies to plan and follow a path that is most efficient. It also recognizes different flooring materials and recognise obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can raise itself up to 7mm to glide across carpets. The intelligent spray system uses the proper amount of water to remove the stains, without leaving ugly water marks.
The Legee, the Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both of them cost more. It comes with more features, including a flexible D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets better than the round version. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass), four forward-facing and one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two cliff detectors in the front and back (most robots only have one pair). The system also has Legee SLAM to help reduce the bump-and-grind issues that cause problems for Gen 4 robots.
The Legee is different from other robots because it comes with a trash compactor and utilizes the more quiet 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The included LuLu mop cleaning station washes, refills, and dry the mop's 'cloth'. This means that you can use it up to six times longer than other mops. It also reduces waste and frequency of emptying bins.
Karcher RCV 5
Karcher is known for its gardening tools and pressure washers is also experimenting with robot vacuums for quite some time. This is the most technologically advanced model from the company. It is powered by LiDAR and creates maps of your home that can be programmed to mop or vacuum. It also differentiates between carpets and hard floors to ensure that you don't end up with the dreaded puddles on your carpet.
Its navigation is superb, avoiding carpets or furniture with ease. It can also lift itself over steps. The machine can be customised by adjusting a range of settings, including cleaning schedules and rooms it is required to be cleaning. It also comes with an emergency button that can make the robot return to the base in the event that it is unable to supply power and can be set to automatically turn off when the weather is forecast to be stormy.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, although quite large at almost 4kg, it's not too difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. Safety features like sensors that warn it to stay clear of stairs are appreciated by parents with small children. Once fully charged, it takes just a few hours to recharge and the two buttons on top will turn green to let you know that it is ready to go.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is a machine that blends modern technology with affordability. It's a contender to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's top-selling Q Revo. The Mova E30 Ultra is a lower-cost model, however it comes with features that are not found in other models. It uses sensors to adjust its settings to different surfaces and floors as well as detect dirtier areas and ensure that they are given enough attention. It also has the ability to move at a slower speed to avoid damaging furniture or walls.
The device can map the interior of your home, which you can view in the app. You can also mark certain rooms and objects you would like to keep out of the way. The device will slow down when it detects an obstacle and prevent itself from hitting it. The device also comes with an intelligent dustbin, which alerts you to its fullness to ensure that you empty the bin on time.
The Mova E30 Ultra is an affordable option for anyone looking to delegate the chores of daily cleaning. It can double as mop and robot vacuum, allowing you to keep your floors spotless without lifting a finger. It is designed with a clever layout which increases cleaning at corners by up to 60 percent. It has a suction power of up to 7,000 Pa and a RoboSwing arm, which is controlled by the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3
The Beko RCV3 is a stylish and feature-packed hybrid robot mop/vac that does a bang up job of keeping floors spick and span. It can't lift its mop to clean carpets and rug as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it's very effective at cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a high degree of suction, an array of mopping options, and a top-quality app that works both on iOS and Android.
It's smaller than the competition and its main brush is shorter however, it did an impressive job in our test room. The brush that rotates on the side for edges is a nice feature and, despite the fact that it didn't remove dirt from our rugs and carpets like some of the competitors but it did a decent job overall.
The individual cleaning parameters can be set up for every room and the device will create detailed maps of rooms with built-in LiDAR navigation. It's easy to control via the app and a variety of voice output options will keep you informed of the state of your home robot. Regular software updates improve and enhance the capabilities. The application can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
